What type of grass that is, and how can I rid of it?

I do I think it is crabgrass. We had the crab before, and which comes later in the summer, and the establishment more flat on the ground. This thing grows higher than crabgrass. Assuming that it is a species of grass, how do you kill without killing my grass as normal?
It is simply a type of crabgrass. The only way to "get rid" of it is to kill him with somthing as Roundup, or other business. It can damage the grass around a bit but if you do at the end of the season and replanting / reseeding immediately next year should have licked the problem until you have completely killed. My recommendation would be to dilute the herbicide with Water on the 50/50 as the first and try to prevent his death was more than needed, then wait a week if this does not force when the concentration increases gradually until it works. You can also try a commercial farm in hardwoods, such as herbicides, etc., they LV400 not harm the grass and may or may not affect your weeds I can not say exactly the image. be very carful with herbicides trade are still very concentrated and dilute neeed to quit a bit.
